The review is about the independent living section of Good Samaritan in Mountain Home, AR. The new Apartment Manager is exceptional at recruiting new residents, but very poor with relating to them. Cold as an icicle. Residents are to be ignored, not worthy of her time. The "Everyone is Someone" Good Samaritan motto has gone by the wayside. Meals --pick-up breakfast, and lunch that only opens its doors to residents at 11:30 or later, while residents have to wait in hall. Some meals are good, but just institutional, often with little protein and fiber. Residents themselves try to support one another, and some of the staff really care. Understaffing creates problems with repairs getting done in a timely manner.
