Seniorly platform best practices

Best practices are the why, what and how of your senior living property dashboard.  Why should you do it?  What will it do?  And how do you do it?  We will always try to empower you with all the information you can possibly need to become a master of your own community profile dashboard.

Provide pricing

Why - Future residents want to see the price. In fact, in a recent survey of Seniorly families, when asked about what was most important to them in their online search, the number one answer was the ability to see detailed pricing information. Help your prospects get this information!

What - Be sure to list base prices by room or care type, include associated community fees and monthly promotions. Seniorly includes a section on your community profile page for these specials.

How - You can do this by logging into your account on Seniorly.com and use the "Pricing" tab to type in your pricing. Or the Seniorly team is happy to help. Many community partners simply email us a monthly spreadsheet of their rates and we then update immediately.

Publish amazing photos

Why - A picture is worth...you know the rest!  It is no secret that high quality photos dramatically improve an online researching experience and impact the decision making process.

What - Make sure to include a variety of photos of your property. These should include exterior shots, images of multiple apartment or room types (studio, 1 bedroom, companion suites, etc.), and pictures of common areas like dining rooms, activity spaces, and any other amenities that you’d like to highlight.

How - Upload images to the "Photos" section or simply email them to communities@seniorly.com. Our team will upload on your behalf. 

Write a custom summary

Why - Your community is a special and unique place. From your staff, to your residents or even your location. Help communicate this essence to prospective residents. They are seeking to compare various communities and are far more likely to look more closely at options that go beyond simply listing their amenities. 

What - Highlight unique features about your community: perhaps it’s languages spoken, an affinity group you tend to serve, an amazing pool on your property or Friday happy hours. TThese are the details families want to know. 

How - Draft a custom summary in your "Amenities" section or send this information to communities@seniorly.com. If requested, our team will work with you to craft and post this information to your profile.
