Very attractive place with attentive staff. My mom had dementia and has been at their memory care wing for more than 8 months now. She has been taken care of really well. She is not a big fan of the food but other than that she has been doing very well here. It is a very large community and even though she doesnt participate in too many activities the staff has been very good about keeping her engaged on a 1:1 basis. Even though thsi was a very difficult decision when we made it my mother has been doing much better here compared to home

I toured MerryWood with my grandma and mom. Overall it was a mixed bag - the staff were incredibly professional, friendly and seemed to genuinely care. However, sections of the community need a facelift. While we had a great experience on our visit, we ultimately ended up choosing another (slightly more expensive) community which (in our opinion) had better amenities.

MerryWood has a welcoming and friendly environment. I have been a resident for one year and have enjoyed each day. It was easy to make friends and to enjoy myself with lots of activities and entertainment. There is a library, chapel, theater, exercise room, hair salon, game room and den with a pool table and poker table. There is a lovely dining room with good food and a large room for frequent entertainment. We are assisted in going on errands and other activities by a MerryWood bus and van. The employees are very kind and helpful in all situations. This is a safe location surrounded with beautiful trees and flowers. I am very pleased that I chose to come here.
