About Friends Homes at Guilford
Friends Homes at Guilford is conveniently located across the street from Guilford College and close to shopping areas. From its modest beginning with 24 apartments in 1968, Friends Homes at Guilford has earned a reputation as an outstanding retirement community. Through the years, the facility has expanded its accommodations and services and is a continuing care community offering three levels of care on a fee-for-service basis.
Most recent additions to the campus of Friends Homes at Guilford include Hobbs Hall with 40 apartments for independent living and the state-of-the art Whittier Nursing Center which includes a special Memory Care Unit. Friends Homes at Guilford also has a fitness center, library, beauty/barber shop, woodworking shop, art studio and nature trail.
