Koelsch Communities

Established in 1958 by Emmett and Alice Koelsch, Koelsch Communities began its journey with one nursing home in Kelso, Washington. The family's commitment to excellence in senior care has flourished under the leadership of CEO Aaron Koelsch, who, having grown up in the first nursing home, brings a lifetime of experience and passion to the company. Today, Koelsch is a family business renowned across eight states, operating 38 communities and providing exceptional care to residents and their families. Judy Koelsch, the Principal Designer, has developed an interior aesthetic that is both elevated and comfortable, incorporating natural beauty, local flavor, history, and culture into each community.

Had a great tour with a delightful gal who made us feel very welcomed. She listened to our needs and made us feel heard. We are looking for another facility that has 2 year spend down. Even though we didn’t choose cedar creek memory care, I recommend you to go look. All the caregivers, said hello during tour and were very welcoming.

The tour at cedar creek was very well worded and we got a lot of helpful information from Langley when this process was new to my wife and I. I will consider this for my mother, but the only downfall was their was a odd smell in the hallways. Staff kindness is 10/10.
