The reality within the walls of this facility opposes what you see portrayed by their listing details. Entirely. Sanitation is horrendous. Lack of well-being supervision is astounding. Lack of accountability is rampant. Granted, the “supervisors” at the location have changed since I quit working there. However, they’d both admitted that senior management prevented them from allowing for proper care. Proper care includes appropriate transfer equipment, working-condition medical related devices and supplies, simple hygiene supplies, adequate bathing; so on and so forth. Above all else, proper care would include PCWs and CNAs of the caliber to know how to count breath rate or even follow hand washing protocol. State was called in when a couple of us reported false documentation among other things, and provided ombudsman information to a couple residents. Be honestly and diligently conscious of your loved one’s condition- and believe them if they complain to you about lacking care.
