The Gardens At Cuyahoga Falls

This nursing home is one of many I visit regularly. Cuy Falls Gardens is depressing. I went for Christmas dinner and the Christmas music was turned down so rap could be played as aides danced. No holiday spirit. The residents wheel themselves down and sit in the lobby. I have never once seen the fireplace on. It would add so much warmth to emptiness The lobby tv is never on as they say the remote gets lost. a worker should be in charge of turning it on in the am and off at night. i watch wheelchaired people just sit in front of a barren screen. Even holiday music to greet and cheer residents and visitors. residents have complained about the huge amount of cigarette butts by the doors and windows. I agree.The place has no spirit and some residents have said it’s just a place to die. very sad it can’t make it a happy cheery place to not feel abandonment. a tv or music keeps the mind busy. I like the staff but am sad to visit.
