Birchwood Suites is both a luxury assisted living community and a memory care facility, located in East Northport, NY. Costs for an assisted living residence start at $4,000 a month for a shared room and $5,500 for a private suite, and begin at $5,500 per month for a shared suite in the memory care facility. All luxury senior living spaces include full laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance services. The fully trained staff is available 24 hours a day for assistance with any activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, bathing, dressing, hygiene or medication management. The Birchwood Suites assisted living facility is spread over five beautifully landscaped acres with enormous birch trees, gorgeous gardens and a tranquil, inspiring duck pond. Residents also enjoy a well-stocked library, a game room, common meeting rooms and a hair salon. Enhanced medical services include X-rays, lab services, audiology, internal medicine, optometry, psychology, psychiatry, podiatry and physical therapy. Daily activities include exercise and yoga, gardening, games, movies, live entertainment, Wii bowling leagues, and religious faith-based services. Pets are accepted, so furry family members are welcome. The luxury senior facility serves three delicious meals daily, prepared by the dedicated culinary team and served restaurant-style. Lavender Gardens is the memory care facility, staffed with experienced professionals using the latest memory care therapies to uplift residents facing their special needs. The memory care program is designed to stimulate the entire person in mind and body, to help them live their lives to the fullest.
