About Concordia Village of Tampa
Concordia of Tampa is one of Tampa’s few CCRCs or Continuing Care Retirement Communities. This means that residents can enter into Independent Living and then seamlessly transition to Assisted Living, Memory Care or even Skilled Nursing, if or when they are needed. CCRCs also ask for a large upfront fee, $81,000 is the standard investment at Concordia, and a smaller monthly fee. This is an investment or buy-in program and guarantees care for life, if a resident starts in Independent Living. Without the buy in, residents would just be a on a fee-for-service model without guaranteed placement and care for life. More information is available through the community itself. Independent Living residents choose from custom carpeting and paint, fully equipped kitchens, satellite TV, emergency call buttons and all utilities except phone and internet included. Maintenance is included as well as bi-weekly housekeeping, linen services. Food is out of discretionary meal allowance and can be used at the different restaurants on campus. There are also two grocery stores, banks, a beauty and barber shop as well as 11 laundry facilities. Concordia Village of Tampa is truly a one-stop-shop when it comes to retirement living and aging in place.
