The Moorings at Lewes

The visionary ideas of President & CEO, Victor D. Amey and the Board of Directors of Cadbury Senior Services, Inc., to establish a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Lewes Delaware began as early as 1996. Ten years of planning and dedication led to construction of Cadbury on 35 acres adjacent to the historic town of Lewes.

Cadbury’s first residents moved into the “only CCRC at the beach” early in 2007. Offering both cottages and apartments for Independent Living, as well as Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing, Cadbury has become a vital part of the Lewes’ senior community, offering lifestyle choices never before available.Carol has been with Cadbury Senior Lifestyles Lewes, a continuing care retirement community, since January 2007. Beginning as Director of Resident Services, Carol earned her Long Term Care Administrator’s license in 2011. She has been the Executive Director at Cadbury since 2012 focusing on all three levels of care. In January 2015, Carol was elected to the Delaware Healthcare Facilities Association Board serving a three-year term. Carol has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Health Care Administration from Wilmington University.
